Often in Traveller navy discussions comparisons are drawn between Traveller space navy vessel types with earth bound navies.  There is one major problem with this. Traveller fighters (armed crafts around 10DT) are compared to real world aircraft, which incidentally works in a way dofferent environment than their carriers and the fleet the fighters are supposed to protect. With other words the analogue breaks down pretty quick.
